The Watershed Hydrology and Biogeochemistry group in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University (CSU) is seeking a PhD student to work on a NSF funded project. The project will investigate physical transport and stoichiometric controls on nutrient uptake and retention in streams across 3 CZO sites (Boulder, Catalina-Jemez, and IML). This project is collaborative across CSU, University of New Mexico, CU Boulder, and Colorado School of Mines. The PhD student will collaborate with faculty and graduate students from each of these institutions and will have the opportunity to gain expertise and skills from each research group. The position will entail considerable fieldwork along with quantitative analysis.
